Changes (Chapter Ten)

Foreword:
It all started... with the thing in the elevator. Forgetting she had a boyfriend back in Korea, she started to become interested with this one guy... Who in return is not interested in girls.
He doesn't know it was Sakura and she just kept it at that. Too late, as it finally dawned on her that she's falling head over heels in love.
A/N: Okay, before reading the following chapter, I advise you guys to read this first.
I noticed some people might get confused with some of the characters.
See, I'm the kind that doesn't really like to tell the pairing because I think its no fun. I mean, I'm not against it in any way. Its just I prefer to make the pairings like, some kind of surprise or something. [explains the missing Pairing: thing ] So I think it came as a problem. >_< Gomenasai.So to clear things up, in the end I have to tell you guys the pairing.
Takada Mirai, Sakura Hanabira's cousin is NOT Shida Mirai, okay? >_< as you will see later, there will be some slight Yabu x Mirai in the story. One of my friends' ichiban is Yabu so I included her. [her name's Takada Mirai.] So yeah. I think that's the major confusion. [because I haven't mentioned her full name before. It's clearly my mistake. *whacks herself*]
But then, I just thought of another pair, which is the ever so loved by many YamaShi! XD and I forgot that I already included the name 'Mirai' in. :(((( So just for the sake of having some YamaShi, I'm going to include Shida Mirai here as 'Shida' only! not Shida Mirai, but Shida! ne? ne? :D
I think another reason for this confusion is because I don't really use full names for my OCs. ne? I only mentioned Mirai as Mirai and not Takada Mirai. hehehe. Gomenasaaai. Hontou gomenasai~ at least I learned my lesson and will improve for my other upcoming fics. ne? ><

Daiki heaved a heavy sigh as he sat at the blue bench near the lobby and rubbed his hands together, reciting what had happened with Koyama-san, the person in charge at the reception are at their apartment. They knew each other well, since Hey! Say! JUMP has been living there for some time.
*flashback*
"Gomenasai. I don't recall anyone with your description. There are no one at about the same age as any of you guys at the 10th floor. The other people there are either too old or too young. Are you sure she's there?" Koyama questioned. "Maybe some of their relatives came for the summer... but I've never seen any though.." Koyama continued, his eyebrows were scrunched up together as he thought hard about Daiki's -lame- description of the girl. [Dai-chan fail. XD] Daiki felt more hopeless with the result.
"Arigatougozaimasu for helping though, Koyama-san. Gomenasai for bothering you." Daiki finally said, excusing himself to go back to the party.
"Ah, chotto matteyo. I don't know if it helps you or not.. but I've seen a few new faces around here, it's just that they're not from the floor you've mentioned...."
*end of flashback*
The thing is, Daiki himself didn't have the slightest idea in finding the girl. He felt more guilty towards the others. Why is he here? Rather than grabbing the oppurtunity to bond with the guys more at the party?
Feeling that it's better to just go to the party now than waste anymore time, Daiki made his way up to the 9th floor.

Sakura's face hurts from smiling so much. It made her feel bad that she wasn't enjoying the party as much as the others. Don't get her wrong though. Sure, everyone was funny and nice to her... but she was just a tad bit disappointed that the elevator guy wasn't here. (but if he was... Sakura don't know what she'd felt either.)
So right now, she doesn't know where he's staying. It's weird. They're living in the same building but she felt so faraway from him, as if he's from another universe; another world. If they don't see each other again for the next few days... maybe it was not meant to be...
Sakura felt more sad at the thought and plopped down on the sofa with a glass of punch that someone had kindly offered to her. In all honesty, Sakura felt like going home but decided against it when she noticed how Mirai and her mother was having much more fun than her, enjoying the boys company.
"Here." Yuto said when he emerged from one of the rooms. He tossed an iPod fully equipped with headseats to Sakura. (Which she skillfully caught. hohho.)
"N-nani ga?" Sakura raised an eyebrow.
"Check it out. You mentioned you like foreign music, right?" Yuto grinned but he was distracted with Sakura's look on her face.
"Oh my gosh! Kawaiiiiiiiii~" Sakura squealed and gushed at the penguin charm hanging from the iPod. Looking at her.. she looks like some tiny 4 year old. All her sadness went POOOF and she looks innocent. Yuto can't help but chuckle... which ends up being full mode laughter. Seriously, Sakura looks so...
"...Kawaii Sakura-chan!" Chinen poked Sakura's cheeks. [HAHHA. how random can he get? XD]
"Whaaaaat? I can't help it that the penguin's so cute~ Look at it~ :DDD" Sakura pouted. Her mature and shy image seems to went down the drain just because of her obsession with penguins.
"Foreign music... and penguins? You should really meet Dai-chan, Sakura! He's crazy about both too!" Takaki suggested.
Sakura was completely clueless about who he was talking about and turned to Yuto for help, "One of our members. He's the owner of the iPod I borrowed you."
"N-ne? Do you think he'd mind if I borrowed it?" Sakura said while browsing the playlist. Damn this guy's one hella collector. Sakura can't wait to transfer the songs to her laptop. Being the lazybum she is, she's not the type to pressure her parents to ask her to buy stuff like these. The laptop was a present from her parents before her move to Japan. She usually listens to the foreign songs from her friends back in Korea... Hmm.. maybe she could try and ask an iPod from her mother.. There's a first time for everything right?
"Naah~ He won't. Trust me." Yuto winked at Sakura and smiled. [I don't think Yuto is ever seen NOT smiling in this fic~ lololol XD]
"Well, you guys seem to be getting along well... " Mrs. Hanabira commented when she joined them at the living room. "I hope you guys takes care of these two..."
"Don't worry, Hanabira-san. We'll treat them like little sisters!" Yabu instantly replied.
"Little sisters, huh?" Hikaru smirked.
Yabu didn't reply but his face was beet red. Same goes with Mirai. It's as if there's something on between those two. Wow. and to think that they haven't been acquainted for even 24 hours.
"If any of you get bored.. you guys can always come here. Most of us are always home since Hey! Say! JUMP's schedule's aren't as tight as it used to be..." Ryosuke offered.
So the group's name is Hey! Say! JUMP... Sakura thought. She's heard of them. Never listened to any of theirs songs or watched any of their interviews and such though. She just knew them off by name. Sakura caught Mirai's gaze and she bet that Mirai's thoughts were the same like hers. Mirai was in the same situation like hers... Japan by blood, but they never really grew up there. Mirai grew up in Hong Kong. So practically her nihongo was less fluent than Sakura's. At least they could communicate with the others.
Mrs. Hanabira checked her watch and excused herself. Saying that she's got to finish some of the paperwork she brought from work.
"I'll leave you two here, okay?"
Sakura and Mirai nodded. They don't have anything much planned for the next day, so no biggie. Finally Sakura learned how to enjoy the other member's company. They were 9 basically.. but they kept on saying that they have 10 - Sakura wondered who the other one was.
At first it was a bit hard to identify which is which so Sakura made a point to remember them with somekind of trademark(?) or something so it'd be easier. Besides they already spent about a few hours together, she should know bits and pieces of their personality right?
Well, obviously she knew Yuto and Yabu. Morimoto Ryutaro was the one with them when they met for the first time; the youngest of the group; the one with the same age as her. With that in common, it's not that hard to feel at ease when she's around him, like what she felt with Yuto.
Then it's Yamada Ryosuke. He's the good looking (wait, practically eveyone is goodlooking, so scratch that.), sometimes moody and a bit more complex than the other 8. He's got this playboy charm and a killer smile that could make any normal girl swoon. Well, boo-hoo for him that doesn't seem the case with Sakura. She's not the type that could fall for stuff like that. But that aside, he's pretty fun to hang out with.
Then there is Chinen. Chinen Yuri. The random gymnastic squirrel. Oh so random, but oh so funny. Sakura liked his randomness. She couldn't believe that he's older than her! Like whoooah. She thought he could at least be of the same age!
Next, Okamoto Keito. At first glance, he seems mysterious. So does a few glances after that. He can get hyper when he wants to, especially with his buddy, who, yayy, turns out to be Yuto. Sakura especially liked Keito because he once lived in England before moving to his homecountry, Japan and so they would converse in English and bully Yuto because he always felt soo left out. [Being a foreign music lover, Sakura manage to master the English Language enough to converse them fluently. Now with Keito, she have another friend other than the ones in Korea to converse in English with.] Haha!
Then... It's Inoo Kei. He's the -pretty- one with hair people would envy. [did I mention I love guys with curly hair? and Inoo's is the one to die for. MELTTTTSSSS.] and fingers that could bring girls to shame. He can get pretty eccentric if he wants to. but that what makes Sakura amused by him.
Next up: Yaotome Hikaru. Sakura couldn't stand being around this one without holding her tummy to stop from it aching so much due to her sudden bursts of laughters. Hikaru makes Sakura think that they really are no different than normal guys; he adds the reason why they are so 'less' like celebrities.
and then last but not least: Takaki Yuya. He's the long haired guy that looks too old for his 'inner age.' He blends in well with the young ones because (as he admitted) his mental age is no different than Chinen... maybe a little bit younger. [lol. xD]
Yup. 9 people. and the one that Sakura apparently haven't meet is Daiki. When they spent time together, they told their different experiences and such and Daiki's name always propped up. So far all of the stuff about him are positive... hmmm.. that made Sakura a lot curious about who Daiki really is. Where is he, anyway?
"Is this Daiki person single?" Mirai suddenly asked.
"Why? Interested?" Sakura nudged her playfully, grinning.
"No. It's just that I assume everyone here is single, so I was wondering if the reason of his absence is because of a girl." Mirai's answers created an uproar from the others, they laughed. Sakura noticed how among the others, Yabu was the only one that kept quiet. The other's reactions went something like this:
"A girl? No way!"
"He's sworn off girls since forever! In no freaking way it's because of a girl!"
"Na-ah. Impossible, it's Daiki here we're talking about."
'So.. Daiki was a woman hater?' Sakura thought. Oh.. My... that sounded so much like...
"Mirai is right you guys.It IS because of a girl." Everyone kept their mouth shut after that. All eyes seems to be only on Yabu. Finally, after what seems like forever..
"You're... kidding, right? Again, It's Daiki we're talking about." Ryosuke started.
"Do I look like I'm kidding?"
Then silence engulfed them... till a 'click' sound from the door broke the somewhat awkward silence.
"Tadaima... Gomenasai, minna.. for being late.."

Phew. This one's a bit of a mess. Maybe it's because I'm not supposed to go online now.. (Oka-saan specifically told me not to. She said I need to study. But I can't help it. D:) another reason is because I still felt a bit bad because of the confusion. Hontou Gomenasai! *bows bows*
