A/N: Wrote this ages ago during the midst of my O Levels exam.
I forgot where I found the challenge. It's a songficdrabble!challenge. I typed them in my phone while listening to the songs innit. Originally, I wrote up to 20 songfics. Then I went into rage mode and deleted most of them because they suck or pretty much doesn't make any sense. WRITING A FIC IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES IS HARD YO.
Rules (based off memory as I couldn't find the original):
1. Pick any character or pairig you like for each drabble.
2. Turn on your music player and put it on shuffle/random. (I cheated a bit here, I made a playlist in my music player that only consists of English songs because it's easier for me think up a plot that way rather than listening to Japanese/Korean/Chinese ones)
3. Write a drabble related to each song that plays. You only have the time frame of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song strarts, and stop when it's over. No lingering afterwards!

Title: Brighter

Yamada looked at her sitting there next to him.
"So this is it then?" He asked.
"Yeah, I guess." She replied softly.
"Well, I'm going to miss you." He admitted.
Silence engulfed them.
"Can I take Mr. Snuggles too?" He continued to break the silence. Mirai laughed lightly. Oh how Yamada would miss that laugh.
"No. I'm going to bring him.. To remember me about us. About you." Yamada smiled and pressed his lips lightly against hers.
"You're going to shine brighter than any star there is, Mirai."
"You really think so? Being in Hollywood still sounds a bit like a dream."
After having said that, they heard an announcement and Mirai stood up; it's time to go. She hugged him for the last time and then
parted ways.
"I know so." Yamada muttered as he waves her goodbye.

Daiki felt a sudden rush of emotion when he heard that maybe, just maybe, she could reciprocate his feelings.
But he's scared.
So he held back.
It's just a crush you moron, he mused in his mind.
But nevertheless, he hates the fact that even though it's possibly just a crush, it still hurts like hell.
Because he knew that if he finally confess, there was still a possibility that they could take what friendship they had and make it
into something that's worth and lasts forever.
He knew that this so called crush won't go away.
Maybe it's just that legendary thing.
...That thing called Love.

Yuto dropped her off in front of her house. She was already at her gate.

"Thanks for today, Nakajima-kun." She'd say every night. Her voice just shows her polite reply.
He knew about her past. About her heartache. He felt like he wanted to just envelope her in a hug. To hide her from all the hurt
But he contained all of his urges and is ready to wait for her. Even if it takes forever.
Call it love. Call it whatever you wanted.
"Hold on to me Suzuka, please just trust me. I'll never hurt you like he did." He'd whispered to himself after dropping her off after their dates.
At least she's holding on. They were still together. She is still giving their relationship a chance. She's almost there.
They're almost there.

Yuto thought that tonight would be like the usual. But it was not.
"Thank you for today... Yuto-kun." Yuto broke into a big smile.
On his way home, his heart swell. They really are on their way.
Please hold on and don't let go of me Suzuka.

Okay well, quite honestly, he never really thought about it at all.

Besides, he was too busy with work and school anyways.
But then he met her.
She made him feel like he'd throw all those things out and drag her to a church nearby to exchange vows.
I'd really say 'I do'.

Keito was thinking about stuff over a cup of coffee at the cafe.
About how he would absent mindedly drew a little picture of her.
About how he would fiddle his guitar and wrote a song about her.
He was sure he'd find her. Someday.
She's going to be perfect, he thought. My kind of perfect.
How perfect is your kind of perfect? They'd ask.
And he'd say:
She'd smile a lot.
She'd be my life.
She'd love me.
And I'd love her back.
They'd pat him on the shoulder. And he'd sighed sadly.
Give it time, they said.
In time, she'll come.
Keito really hopes so.
Just then the door of the cafe opened and Keito's train of thought stopped - so does his heartbeat. Just for a split second.
When realisation dawned, he let out the breath he was holding.
He had found his future in a beautiful face.
He had finally, found her.
But is it really her? Is she really the one?
...Maybe.
It was worth a try.
Even if it's not,he's going to find out.

Suzuka still remembered how it felt when her mother left her family. Her Dad was heartbroken.
She was just a kid back then. And so she didn't understand.
She thought that there was no such thing as love. Only pain.
That was why they called her the 'Ice Princess.'
She knew, deep in her soul, that love never really lasts.
She always lived like that, keeping everyone away.
She was just scared - that she'll be like her Dad one day; hurt by love. So she hides her feelings. Delving into loneliness.
And she thought, well, she's used to it. She's fine with it.
But she knew it was useless, she was still broken.
Then she met him: Nakajima Yuto.
And she thought, Well, maybe she could make an exception to this bouncy, energized goof.
He had touched her icy heart and warmed it, and now she's on her way to believe in love.

p/s: okay, now you can see how I'm pretty much a very biased person in terms of pairings and songs. lmfao. You can already imagine how my playlist looks like. xD these are pretty much failures but at least they are better than the others that I deleted!
