This is a product of fiction. This is also my first ever fan fiction. Inspired by a fanfic I read eons ago by a fanfic writer of Super Junior... I think. ^^" Hontouni Gomenasai. I'm sorry if you're not happy with this fanfic. :(( Just don’t continue reading it, then. Because I’m no good with flames. I suck in making up titles. :p YOROSHIKU!

-First Chapter-
Sayo…Nara.
Sitting in the airport departure lounge, Sakura Hanabira tried to distract herself from the waves of mixtures of emotions washing over her. She looked around at the crowd of people who, like her, were waiting for their flights and wondered which of them would be joining on her journey to her home country; Japan.
She hung her head and tried to organize her thoughts and feelings to no avail. Her father had already left her a few moments ago after finally agreeing that Sakura can continue her journey without his help. She hugged him tightly before mumbling a goodbye and making her way to the lounge.
She breathed in the cold air and sighed heavily. Her eyes darted to the departure board - a huge electronic notice board which kept passengers updated with flight details. There was a sudden flurry of activity as passengers responded to the instructions to move to Gate 3, from where the flight to Japan would be leaving. Sakura assumed a composure which she in no way felt, picked up her bag and started to move towards Gate 3.
After a passport check in Gate 3, Sakura put her bag in the overhead locker, sat down and fastened her seatbelt. Sipping her water that a steward had offered, she settled down and took another deep breath while her mind drifted away to the past few hours before her departure.

“Do you really have to leave?” Jay asked on the other side of the line. Sakura bit her lower lip and tried to restrain the treacherous tears.
“You know I have to, right? Besides, I’ll always call and I’ll come and visit you often.” Sakura said.
“And I’ll come to see you too but…” Sakura couldn’t handle it any longer; she hates goodbyes. She quickly said that she had to go and ended the call. Having to say goodbye to Jay haven’t really came close to reality till then.
She just felt like the usual routine of having to leave Korea for Japan over the summer and having to meet him again when classes starts. Apparently, reality had finally hit home - she’s staying in Japan for good.
She doesn’t see herself as someone who is superior but having the most popular guy in school as your boyfriend really gives you that status. As much as she liked being with Jay, she never really loved him and she could feel that neither did he. Love is quite a strong word. She just felt right to be with him, even if she never really felt special around him.
They’ve been going out since forever; even Sakura find it hard to trace back when it all started.
When her parents decided to get a divorce, Sakura, stuck in between had to stay in Korea with her father to finish up her final semester. Even though it’s a bit early to leave, her mother said that she should still come so she could get used to living in Japan.
It feels like she’s leaving her life in Korea to start a new one in Japan. Sakura’s not that sure if it’s a good thing or not. But you may never know what fate could set Sakura up in Japan, right?

Sakura’s eyes darted across the crowded airport in hope of seeing… never mind.
“SAAAKURAAAAA!! OVER HERE!!!!!!!” Sakura looked at the direction of the voice and found her mother flailing her arms in the air. Sakura chuckled and made her way to give her mother a hug.
“I miss you so much, Sakura.” Her mother smiled her usual radiant smile. She always seems so bright and full of energy in comparison to her own daughter.
“I miss you too, mom.” Sakura smiled back to her mother and together they made their way to her mother’s home.

Sakura’s mother lived in an apartment all by herself. Sakura thought her apartment was nice and cozy, except for the fact that they have very noisy neighbors. She never met one though even after all those years of staying during summer time. All she knew is that they were really noisy and she wanted to strangle each and every one of them. Her mother said she was used to it and she said that they were really nice and even good looking.
Upon reaching the 9th floor of the building, Sakura was shocked to find out that the floor was quiet. …Too quiet. Sakura told her mother about her thoughts and her mother just laughed, saying that it is usually quiet this time of the day.
Sakura shrugged upon hearing that statement and went inside the apartment.

“Are you okay, Sakura?” Sometimes Sakura thinks that her mother reads minds.
“Heki, I’m fine. I’m just missing my friends already.”
“You’ll be alright sweetheart. You can meet new friends around here too, you know. I hope you’ll find someone better than that Jay guy you’re going out with. I never trusted him; never liked, honestly.”
Sakura smiled at that point. Her parents never really liked her friends and especially Jay. She’s fine with that, at least both of them agreed on something.
“I know, mom~”
“Okay, I have to go now, Sakura. You know your way around right?”
Rolling her eyes she told that she’s almost seventeen and besides she’s there almost every summer. Sakura’s mother smiled at that and kissed her cheeks while she bid goodbye.
When her mother had left, Sakura was left alone to wander around the apartment.
“Oh yeah, I promised to call Jay when I arrive in Japan. Now where’s my phone……”
