I am so entertained at Usopp working with Conis, Pagaya and Heracles. In fact, I think this is the first thing I've read where a fic writer's actually used him. Kudos for stepping up to the challenge!

Still wondering what he's gonna do when he's too big/tired/confused about his own biology-defining pregnancy to go to work with them. Although my head has been providing plenty of chances for him to get frustrated with work after this fic, what with working in a conservatory myself.

I really didn't want to write Heracles! I wanted to keep him out of it, but this version of the fic proved it was impossible. I only realized he might be out of character last night, which made me wonder if I'm doing him right or not.

I see Conis chasing him around, insisting that he not lift the heavier potted plants...

Honestly, I think Heracles came out just fine. It's tough writing characters that don't get much screen/page time, but at the same time, it gives you some leeway to do what you want/need to do with them.

I know what you mean though- before the Fishman Island arc ended, I was driving my husband crazy fussing about whether or not to rewrite Crossfire with Jinbei as a crew member when I eventually do my writer's cut. His response was "look, it's AU already anyway, so don't worry about it." :P

That mental image has been haunting me since I determined where he works. xD *adds to fic list* In fact in the original version he lifted a heavy plant and, of course, pulled a muscle.

I had a bunch of fun writing him despite knowing little to nothing, I might end up writing him again!

Keeping a fanfiction as canon as possible, despite it being mpreg or AU, is fun. As my boyfriend would say, "It's One Piece. Anything can happen."
