Dealings over the past week...

Well, this past week has sure gone by fast! I kept wanting to update, but I didn't really have time, as a lot has been going on. Also, one of my free days became a work day, which destroyed the excess "free time" I'm enjoying. For the moment. More on that in a bit ( Read more... )

I like the header text on that paper: "The Paizo.com E-Commerce Cooperation". Has a nice ring to it. ;)

And poor Ralph! He does look rather terrified on that picture. O_O

I'm still finding the experience a bit unreal, but that does have a nice ring to it. It's cool that soon "Diane's Dungeon" will be lurking in the depths of Paizo's online store. ;)

I'd say he was beyond terrified by that point. He's not so keen on meeting strangers within his own home, so taking home away and surrounding him with strangers, and worse yet, strangers that squeeze his bladder making him pee, was too much. No wonder he was so upset after we got home!

Your Ralph looks like my Tiggs, minus the white on his little mouth. Adorable, even terrified. Poor baby,

Where did you get Tiggs? It's pretty sad that Red Tabbies are the stereotypical stray cat, but they are too common as abandoned cats. And I love Ralph's white face, it's the only white fur on his entire body! Ralph's back to being happy now, but we have to take him back to the vet in another week. That ought to be fun...

A friend of mine had a pregnant stray cat roaming around and she exploded in kittens. She managed to catch only one though - Tiggs. She didn't have room for him and Connor had been dying for an orange cat, not to mention Nyx was getting destructive without having no one to play with. We got him when he was all fur and bones and only four little teeth. :P Now he's not even a year old, but he's so long and big and so sweet. Sweetest cat I've ever met, to be honest.

I don't know if it's a Red Tabby thing, but just about every one I've ever met has been very sweet. And tended to purr easily. Ralph's actually the exception, but even he has his moments where he wants to cuddle and will unleash a loud purr. (He has volume control though, so usually his purr is hard to hear. Darn cat!) Having Tiggs from a young age doesn't hurt, either, as he's been able to grow up with you. :)

Despite him being terrified, that is a gorgeous photo of Ralph there.

Peekaboo took revenge on me when I took him for his shots two years ago. He doesn't have accidents, so I knew it was pure revenge when I came home from work and found a huge wet spot in the dead center of the bed after his vet visit.

I wish his muzzle hadn't blurred though, else I would agree entirely.

Yeargh, yes, that sounds like lee vengeance to me! I've been fortunate with my cats. Usually when they have an accident, it's just outside their box, or somewhere that can be easily cleaned. In Ralph's case, the wooden staircase that was quickly cleaned before it could soak in. Both sleep on my bed at night, so peeing there would affect them as well. Lucky for me!
