I suspect friends knew what they were doing when they showed me a few episodes of the first season of Wakfu (which I talked about back in May). I finished off season one last week, thinking I would be content after that. Was I mistaken! Holy crap....is this Flash animation? This show is absolutely gorgeous! This puts all our American Flash shows to bloody shame. Now I gotta check this out.

I know, amazing, isn't it? I can see some aspects of Flash animation in there, but they really "push the envelope" as far as production values and whatnot go. I love watching the show just to wonder how they managed to make it look so cool! (And yes, also so much better than our Flash cartoons. We should be ashamed!) ;)

I've been wanting to check out this for a while. It says it's a kids cartoon but it seems a little intense to be in that category.

Yeah, there's some content in there not at all safe for kiddies...at least U.S. kiddies. I really think you'll enjoy the series. (I bet I know at least one character you'll really enjoy.) ^_-

Yeah I'm asking my more internet/torrent savvy land lord to hunt the series down for me, it looks really awesome. (I'm wondering why it hasn't hit our shores yet?) And a character you think I'll like? I've only seen a preview or too but is it that Remmington Smith guy? Person in all black with the eyeball weapons?

Remington is in the second season, but you'll probably like him as well. Don't jump ahead of yourself though, check out the first season...first. You ought to enjoy it. :D

Check the link at the bottom of the post, where you can find all of the episodes hosted. You could more easily search around YouTube, but it only has snippets of the episodes, if at all. It's a faster way to check the series out though, in case you end up not being interested. (But I hope you are! I originally didn't think much of the series, but after the second episode I was hooked!)
