2 - The bat; a night creature, it operates alone, but commonly is seen residing in groups. It has keenly developed senses to compensate for other lacking senses. It shares food with others. It likes to hang upside down. It likes to make high-pitched noises that make no sense to non-bats. It has an air of superstition and danger, but more accurately is a productive insect control mechanism. A well-intended, misunderstood creature.
3 - The black panther; a strong and able cat, it possesses great power and stealth. It is a worthy adversary and a graceful combatant.
