There are 23 Burlingtons in America. Do you mean Burlington, MA, with a population of 23,000, or Burlington, VT, with a population of 39,000?

Oh please, anyone who reads this journal or has talked to me online/in person knows i mean burlington vermont

Yeah, Vermont makes more sense, but most of the people who live in Massachusetts would probably assume you meant Burlington here if you didn't specify. For instance, if you had an away message up that said you were "at the mall with Brandy", even if you meant a different Brandy, most people who know your neighbor's name is Brandy would assume you meant her, even if they also knew you despise her and she's not the only Brandy in the world.

You're being ridiculous. Everyone knows that i've been trying to move to burlington vermont with jared. So when i mention that we're moving to burlington and would like a roommate, everyone knows that i mean vermont. Stop being difficult just for the sake of being difficult.
