While this was heartwrenching for poor Shade, it's also exciting, because he is finally getting his chance to be a hero, which is wonderful! ^_^ I am glad that he is getting this chance to be what he always wanted to be.

Of course, Fyrus will be there to lend a hand and moral support, if Shade wants it. :) And Atratus is hoping Shade will be willing to make a trip back to the Isles for his wedding, because he still wants Shade to be his best man, for the wedding. ^^

Very nicely done, and it has been great, reading Shade's history and back story, even though it was not a happy tale. Thank you for sharing! ^_^

Goodness you know how to wrench tears outta me don't ya. ;)

I know that Tiny and Shades relationship has been hard on him, and the choice for him to leave for paragon is both exciting and forlorn for Shade at the same time. Snow will miss him, as will Harrly and believe it or not Solar might actually be a bit grumpier with out him around. Cause you know, stalkers can be extremely helpful now and again. :P

Farewell, Shade. Maybe we meet as allies again in RWZ.

Wow. This is a really good way to explain both Shade and Simaster leaving the Isles. ^_^ Though if Shade ever discovers it was Sim who did the prank call, there might be a little trouble! ;)

I know Darkfire has to stay in the Isles because he's the team leader, but I like the idea that maybe he's trying to direct the more reformable villains back to the side of good. (I also got a big kick out of the too-strong coffee - reminded me of a recent real-life incident. ;)

Shade really should let Tiny go; I know he's holding out hope, though. He's had so little of it for so long, that I understand why he's clinging to it. ^^;;
