Tonight I was moody and antisocial. So I actually did some art. Only got as far as the sketch, but maybe I will finish it up if I have the time and inclination. It's a drawing of Taichi in one of his cross-dressing outfits - specifically the one he's going to wear when he arrives at the studio to be in a music video in one of the RPs I'm involved in.
Notes are just so I don't forget what I was thinking when and if I ever get around to finishing this. I referred to this as "business cute". Because he's appearing in a professional video, he wants to look professional when he shows up, but Taichi is also a cute whore and definately has his own style when cross-dressing, so there has to be lace and ruffles and stuff. And actually, I wanted him to have a ruffled petticoat on under the skirt too, but I couldn't draw it. I used an anime character sketch as reference for his pose and outfit, but I don't remember what anime it was from, because I tore it out of a magazine years ago.
Hmm... he doesn't look very happy, does he? That's because he's NOT. This is because of what awaits him while shooting the video, which I adore, but he does not. And he looks much thinner than I usually draw him for a reason, because he recently lost a dangerous amount of weight in the RP. However, Taichi in pigtails equals teh cute. And there's a little kitty head on his purse. He hates carrying a purse, though. And the color pink will come nowhere near this. Hair needs to be messier.
I have a list here of drawings that must be done (it's about 10 miles long, and I just added a new one to the list tonight >_< ). These go back quite to events long ago, so I think some of the older ideas will be retired. But Taichi's lolita goth outfit has been moved to the top of the list, because I'm really dying to draw that... so I guess this one is a warm-up for that one. That one has to have a lot of movement and energy to it. It should be interesting. Maybe. I'm way out of practice doing art.
That is all. I am tired and cranky and I am going to bed.
