I was going to put Krogan/Vorcha, but that looked like an insanely weird pairing. I mean, either party would probably kill the other before long, but hey, I guess it's the thrill of it, right?

ANYWAY. I feel very Kroganish. Last night I carted a 25 pound box of cat litter from my car to my apartment door one handed and it was only when I was ( Read more... )

Oddly enough I was just thinking about your recipe posts and lo, one has appeared!

That is very similar to how I make my pasta sauce - though I usually also include some zucchini or pepper or eggplant in there too. But I am really intrigued at adding coconut milk - we usually just use water and then pump it up with a bunch of spices. Definitely going to see if I can track down some coconut milk this weekend to give it a shot! I'd try the wine too, but I know we'd never use the rest of it and I'd hate to waste it.

Yay! I should have included pictures, but I can't find my charger and my battery is almost kaput on my camera.

I put in a boatload of spices that it didn't call for. that's the hardest thing to try to do: measure out spices. I'm a definite eyeballer when it comes to that. And to save wine, I heard that you can put it in ice cube trays and freeze it until you need it. Haven't tried it, but worth a shot.

Haha me too! I have definitely fallen victim to the "oops my hand slipped" spice allocation method before. Also the "what is this unlabeled spice in the cupboard? Smells good!" method.

Good idea with the wine! I should see if I can dig up our old ice trays - as entertaining as a novelty wine-cube shaped like Han Solo in carbonite would be, they don't hold very much!
