By the end of ME3, 100% Renegade became a test of wills. I really liked how the game called me on the Renegade Lifestyle. You spend the other two games telling everyone they need to suck it up and deal with it for the greater good... and then suddenly Shep is the one that has to sacrifice friends and allies and it HURRRRTS.
I actually liked EDI's character development a LOT more after shutting down the Jokermance. I felt like she really developed a lot more individually that way.
Yesssss Chakwas/Adams!! That scene in the crew quarters was just like... Adams! What are you doing on the other side of the table get over here STAT!
Garrus is the best. I always forget just how good it is, and then swoon all over again because I am a hopeless fangirl! He's just so... SWEET. Even to Renegade Shep!
I think the only Paragon options I've taken are Garrus-related. Everybody else is getting killed or told to put your big girl panties on, Buttercup.
I'm worried about EDI's character development at the moment. Shep is telling her to just stay a machine, don't think for yourself, do what your creators tell you to do, blah blah. I'm somewhat worried that she's going to pull a Terminator at the end of this.
Then again, now that I think about it, encouraging Joker/EDI as a Paragon and then choosing the Destroy option wasn't much of a better decision. I'd rather have Evil Overlord!EDI than brokenhearted!Joker. :(
Good gravy, Chakwas/Adams!! I was sort of flirting with the idea of Chakwas/Zaeed, but now I don't know! Adams! She is CRYING and I want to leap through the TV and give her a hug! What are you doing on that side of the table?! (FACT: Adams totally stole Donnelly's booze to illustrate a doctor-to-engineer discussion on the medicinal uses of a fine scotch once.)
Haha yes, I know how those playthroughs go! So thank you Garrus, for being the one person ever Shep could open up to a little! It is impossible to be mean to him anyway - pretty much whatever you say is what he wants to hear.
I found that when EDI is left on her own, she does more independent thinking... or maybe I mean to say more thinking about herself independently? I felt like when the Jokermance was on it was a lot about her feeling toward him or about him, whereas she feels more about herself when they aren't together. Whoa, that is a lot of ~feels~ all in one sentence haha
I was down for some Chakwas/Zaeed or some Chakwas/Hackett before Bobby pulled me in to the Chakwas/Adams train. But, I mean c'mon, Zaeed isn't around in ME1 or ME3 so there's no saying she can't do both! Boys please, there is Chakwas for all! (I bet Donnelly wasn't much appreciative... and then got told to do some really crumby dirty job in the other part of the ship)
