Well, the ice and cold seem to be over for now. Yesterday was the only day that it was really bad - I became a human hockey puck when I skidded on the ice (I swear, it looked dry!) and then bounced back up. Black ice is scary stuff! Fortunately I've never fallen badly enough to have anything but my pride damaged... I usually just laugh because you feel so ridiculous. I really like the picture of the grass!

Just out of curiosity - what kind of camera do you use?

That's exactly what I did. After the initial "eep!" and "OMG CAMERA OKAY?!" I kinda sat there and giggled. I like how the grass looked too! It was all crunchy sounding walking through it, which is something that people over here aren't used to unless there's a drought and we're in the middle of summer.

I use a Nikon CoolPix P90.

The grass is usually all dead by the time it gets cold enough to get frosted up - so you don't usually get that contrast between the green and the ice!

Cool! I'm a Nikon girl too! I have a really old Coolpix that is my carry-around camera that has served me well for a long time now.
