My actual root canal this morning was actually much less exciting than the "getting numb" part. I warned the endodontist that it takes "kill an elephant" quantities of anesthetic to numb my mouth, and he responded by doubling his usual dosage. Dental victory!!! That's fascinating about the redhead/anesthesia link - do nurses have a hard time drawing blood from you, too? I've heard that's also a redhead issue. Maybe all your medical problems stem from you being a Secret Redhead??

One nurse told me I had small/difficult veins and should warn people, but I don't recall anyone else having that trouble. I suspect user error.

Hilariously, there is some weak evidence linking red hair and an increased risk for endometriosis, so...yes? My hair does get a bit of a red cast to it in certain lights...
