aslfkjasdf. I loved this fic! Yay for Maggie and Joel wanting to have a baby. I totally wouldn't mind a sequel of sorts to this fic :)

Thank you! I actually pretty much took them at their word in "Baby Blues" that they don't like babies (because I dislike them myself), and really, they should NOT be having children, but...somehow, this happened. Maybe what feels like half my flist being pregnant or recently having babies has infected me or something. ;)

I totally wouldn't mind a sequel of sorts to this fic :)

I am actually in the process of a prequel! Once I've finished this other thing I'm working on, I'm hoping to finish it. It's basically "how Joel comes back to Cicely after spending a year in NYC and realizing it's no longer home to him," which I've been writing in my head in one for or another for ten years now.

Love it. I like how she realized she wants a baby. I think after they get over being frightened about the responsibility of having a child, they would be good mommy and daddy. Joel was so cute with the babies in the different episodes. I always thought he just told Maggie he did not like babies either, to comfort her. In fact I think he wanted to be a dad once.
