I never thought of it in terms of rockets either until I was trying to describe leaving Earth in one for this thing I'm writing, and found myself basically channeling that poem. It's amazing that she wrote it 20+ years before rocket propulsion was even invented.

I Love her poems.

I think she's my favorite poet. I wish she were more well-known.
