I appreciate how smart and literate this is! I don't watch Due South, but I really loved your characters, and anything Shakespeare is 100% my bag. Well done!

Thank you very much! :) So have you seen Slings & Arrows? If you haven't, you'd totally love it; it's kind of a Shakespeare fan's dream.

Aww, this was lovely. And funny. And great! :)

Had to quote this for the LOLs: Fraser's in particular resembled that of a dog who had been forced into doll clothes and was now asking God what he had done to deserve such a fate.

I suspect Dief was *highly* amused. ;-)

Geoffrey, Geoffrey, Geoffrey, you are an evvvill man and I love you, hee. I can imagine the awkwardness between Fraser and Thatcher so well at the work shop.

I am glad he is taking his own advice there at the end with Ellen.

I am starting a S&A rewatch on Sunday and your story is so getting me in the mood for it.

Lovely!

Thank you! Geoffrey being evil and Fraser and Thatcher being awkward was so much fun to write.

I just did my own S&A rewatch a couple weeks ago and had great fun. It's such a wonderful show.

This is utterly, perfectly AWESOME! I LOVE Geoffrey fucking with Fraser and Thatcher, love the way he chooses to do it, love that his direction, as usual, brings forth truth. I love your use of the Shakespeare--the choices of the plays, the choices of the lines--and how you intersperse it throughout in JUST the right places, and just enough without over-using it. I'm so impressed with that balance because it could have been overdone or underdone and instead, you did it just right.

This is what the best crossovers are made of: someone who love and KNOWS both canons and references and uses them and gets ALL the characters right...then has them interact...it's really excellent.

You have made my day so much with this comment, I cannot even tell you. :D I'm so glad to hear that all the elements felt right for each specific canon, and that they worked well together. The Shakespeare references and lines were some of the parts I worked hardest on--as you say, it could easily have been over/underdone--and I'm really pleased to hear you thought I struck the right balance there.

Thank you!
