Final Bones S3 episodes

Dec 20, 2008 17:13

All Bones episodes should be as hilarious as "The Baby in the Bough." Because Brennan fluttering her hands in a baby's face and singing, "Phalanges! Dancing phalanges!" is the funniest thing I've seen in my life.

Further thoughts on that episode and the rest of S3 )

I just made a post asking for the first five episodes of season four! Even the network site doesn't have them. FAIL.

Do you have Netflix?

Do you have Netflix?

Yes, but not for much longer; I'm cancelling in January, and the Absolutely Must See Or Else parts of my queue will take at least that long to get through. Meh.

Hee, I always love your Bones commentaries.

Whee, dancing phalanges!

Um, so did B&B get married without telling the rest of us?

*snerk* I vote yes.

And now Max is free. This should be more disturbing to the characters, I would think. Seeing as he's, you know, a murderer.

Brennan must have the weirdest Father's Days ever.

Ooooh, awkward microphone placement there. It looks like the guy's crotch is going to sing backup.

I...may have to check out that scene again.

I particularly liked Cam's reaction; I think she might have been the closest of all of them to the poor boy.*

Her face gets me every time. I cam across an animated icon of it once and could not stop staring. I don't know of fic like that, since I have avoided most "Pain in the Heart"-fic, but I'd love to see it as well.

But I have to say: remember how I said, way back at the fourth episode of S1, the one where he knew so much about cannibals, that Zack reminded me of a serial killer? Well.

Yes, I laughed and was quite impressed.

Wait, Brennan has twenty ( ... )

Hee.

I'm still giggling over that. I may need to make an animated icon.

Considering every law enforcement officer ever seems to think the same thing...

Brennan must have the weirdest Father's Days ever.

Oh, I'm sure she will. Especially when Max inevitably kills someone again, as I'm sure he will once they need a plot device and Ryan O'Neal is available...

I...may have to check out that scene again.

I'm pretty sure it was there to mic any (shorter) guitar-players that might be playing at the open mic, but still. Awkward.

Her face gets me every time. I cam across an animated icon of it once and could not stop staring.

Ohhhh, man.

I don't know of fic like that, since I have avoided most "Pain in the Heart"-fic, but I'd love to see it as well.

Well, I will be on the lookout. Because if I don't read it, I might have to write it.

Yes, I laughed and was quite impressed.I haz skills! Also, I read the spoiler right around that time. I ( ... )

I love your Bones commentary. It makes me happy. :)

This might be a crime to the fandom, but I actually wasn't *too* upset about the whole Zach thing. I mean, yeah, totally kinda sucky, but since I just started watching Bones about three episodes before the season finale, he didn't have as much time to worm his way into my heart as the From The Beginning types. Zach was... actually one of my least favorite characters.

Aaaand now I wanna do a Bones marathon. Woe, I have no DVDs.

I knew practically from the beginning that Zack was going to be the killer, so I suppose that made it harder to get attached. Still, the poor boy. I did enjoy him.

And his past recidivism rate has been... awfully high?

Hello, Neelix! Ethan Phillips, I think you have very much been typcast because of that show. Sorry.

OH! I was thinking he had played the Doctor instead. I knew the voice sounded Voyager-y. (Not that I really saw enough of that show to keep the actors straight...)

Ooooh, awkward microphone placement there. It looks like the guy's crotch is going to sing backup.

Bwah! I totally missed that! But that's a terrible mental picture, thanks...

And they finally, finally got the actor trained in musical theatre to sing.

OH ZACK I STILL LOVE YOU! :,(

(I guess they're trying to imply that she lost touch with the world pop culture after she was abandoned or something and thus she is still stuck in 1989, but still.)This plus the Smurfs thing suggests that as a young teen she was still wrestling with her inner nerd - perhaps by 17 she had thrown herself into science ( ... )

Hasn't it, though?

Awww. No, he's too short to be the Doctor. Although they are similar in thier baldness.

You're welcome.

This plus the Smurfs thing suggests that as a young teen she was still wrestling with her inner nerd - perhaps by 17 she had thrown herself into science (and out of tv?) as a defensive mechanism? Or perhaps I'm working too hard to justify early awful writing...

Way too hard.

Um. What I got from that bizarre line was "OMG CAM HAS BEEN SLEEPING WITH ZACK IN SECRET SINCE LAST SEASON!" Because, really... that's a weird line for a boss, or even a friend, to throw in there...

Okay, that would be hilarious. I can totally see that line from a friend/mentor, though!

Yeah, you could ( ... )

But whywhywhy would Cam assume that a vulcan poor little robo-Zack would "cause her pain"? It's a weird thing to pin on a first meeting with Zack, of all people.

Oy. I heard that they wanted to save the Gormagon thing until S4 and just spend the rest of S3 ont he stalker/faked death plotline, but the strike and getting permission to go to London interfered. Or something.

Awww, so much wasted material! Boooo, strike!

I knew he was a bad egg.

Aww, like the Egg Detector machine in the old Willy Wonka....

YES.

Maybe *that's* why we've never spent much time in Booth's apartment!

It's not like these people have a script supervisor or anything.

Would it kill them to make a show bible?

Maybe because she could tell he was an impending serial killer? Or possibly she knew he was going to grow up, flee the nest, and crash horribly on the ground to be eaten by a cat? (Uh, where "cat" is a metaphor for "Gormagon," anyway.)

Well, his bedroom appears non-geeky. That's all we've really seen of it, of course...

Would it kill them to make a show bible?

Perhaps we could take up a collection...
