That sounds like a very, very emo band, one which sings lyrics like, "Your emotions are as plastic as my Barbie doll" with a straight face or something like that.

I was thinking more of an emo bluegrass band, like with a washboard or an autoharp....

I dunno, I think they'd turn up their noses at bluegrass. Maybe folk, though, so kind of similar, without the banjo/washboard/autoharp...
