Some things most people don't know...

The large animal organizations that ask you to donate don't need your money. And they kill animals they don't deem worthy.
HSUS (Humane Society USA) PETA, and ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) have MILLIONS of dollars. All three don't think feral cats are worth saving and recommend

peta is nuts, but i knew that from reading all their information. what is sick they are against responsible owners, having pets, and
i didn't know though, about the pitbulls and cats, thats disgusting of them and heartbreaking to me. I love animals, any info on the aspca?, b.c im sure i donated to them at one point or another, and i wouldn't want to donate to any cause, hiding other intentions,

They irritate me with their false commercials.
The ASPCA also spam called my mom everyday for a week until I finally answered her phone. It was a guy with a British accent asking for money. I told him we were only supporting No Kill causes and he hung up.
Look up shelters in your area via google or http://www.nokillnetwork.org that are No Kill and donate to them. It will go straight to helping an animal instead of paying for thousand of dollars in advertising...

that really breaks my heart, i just read through the information, how these ppl kill animals that are perfectly worthy to adopt, is cruel.

and here i was fighting for the aspca, their so worthless and scamming ppl, off of money thinking they are saving animals.

Um, I worked for two years for the Humane Society shelter in Ramsey County that services the St. Paul/Minneapolis area. And a lot of the information that you quoted here is really wrong, or misleading. Yes, the Humane Society has millions of dollars, but that's not enough money to run all of its shelters. The Humane Society DOES need those donations, often desperately. We never had enough shelter space in Ramsey County and we had to turn away and/or put down animals when we got overcrowded. We needed more money in order to expand the shelter and support better health care options for animals that were sick or mistreated by their previous owners.

HSUS gives less than 1% of the money to local rescues and shelters.BULLSHIT. Citation fucking needed
