At the beginning of the year, I took the Yankees Under 97 W's, and the O's Over 73.

The Yanks would need to go 27-9 in their last 36 games, while the O's would need to lose 24 of their last 39. Both are certainly possibilities, but not likelihoods.

The crazy thing is that there's a chance no one will have 97 wins this year. It's certainly been an odd year in baseball.

You may have completely jinxed the Orioles with this post. Now they have to go 16-14.

I came upon this link on accident...well, kind of an accident.

I am glad that you are still into baseball. I remember that it was your thing and you would almost always wear your blue baseball hat in school. Although a lot of time has passed since we talked last, it is good to know that you are well.

Take care.

A - you're right, you didn't come by accident. I'm 36th on Google if you search for "Iceman Cometh." So unless you're an intense Eugene O'Neill fan, I doubt you mistakenly ended up here.

B - That's more than a little cryptic. I know I went to HS and college with some odd people, but I would like to think that I'm on friendly enough terms with, well, everyone that you would feel comfortable leaving your name.

C - Yes. You're correct. Still way too into baseball.

God I hate the O's. Eric points out that even after their win last night, they have to go 15-14 for me to win the bet. What the hell.

Thanks to me, however, you are 8th on Google for "freezer burns".

If I can read the original commenter correctly, this looks like a high school aquaintance to me. I think the "blue" (Dodgers) hat was getting some rest by JHU anyway.

Mystery!
