Happy almost birthday! I had no idea you were only a couple of months older than me. I always looked up to you as "the cool older girl" since you were a grade above me. :) I turn 30 in July and I'm pretty excited about it.

Hee hee!! I guess that was an added benefit of skipping a grade, I could pretend to be the "cool older girl" :p

I spent most of my late 20s very unhappy and "stuck" -- it wasn't until I turned 30 and started being more selfish about what *I* needed to make myself happy that I really started living life like it should be lead :)

Also, I didn't have THE FEAR of turning 30 because I had met so many fantastic and inspirational burlesque performers who were in their 30s and early 40s :)

WORD! And, see? It's important that they shared their age with you. I think we're gonna keep on getting awesomer, and not hiding our ages is helpful to the younguns :)
