I'm not suprised really. Almost every label pushed their release date from Tuesday to Monday this week. Why? I don't know.

Hmm, only thing I can think of is trying to get higher sales numbers due to Halloween, Dia de los Muertos, and Feasts of All Saints/Souls but that makes absolutely no sense at all. Or, more likely, one label caught wind of another and they all did it to keep up.

Well last time it happened it was because Whitney Houston's label was trying to get her new album within the deadline for the Grammy's. I can't think of any deadlines for today that someone would be going for. Maybe it is just halloween? This happens all the time in December in an attempt to get more sales in for the week and corporate people are getting desperate.

Actually, it IS no purchase necessary. The rules for the contest are here- it says you can email them your name & address to enter.

I know.I think that they were just saying if you buy a preorder that you'll be entered to win the plaque.
