I don't get why the U.S (most of them) are wrapped up in their own lives, worrying about stupid materialistic crap and thinking that the U.S is the center of the world. News flash, most countries despise the U.S, the U.S is crumbling, everyone thinks that we're the greatest nation, I don't think so. At least other countries give a shit about their people and don't spend hundreds of millions AFTER the economical meltdown.
The U.S needs to open their eyes and see that they aren't the "Center" of the world, and actually help out other countries if they're so "Great"

We are not The Rulers of The World. We don't have the right to step in like some playground monitor when things are going badly in other countries and act as if they should fall to their knees and hail.

What I don't get is why we still tolerate wars, period (in terms of our values, not, you know, material gain and stuff). Is there an intevention being organized? Is the UN attempting to establish a peaceful line of communication between then? (seriously are they?)
I agree- it shouldn't just be on America's shoulders. It should be on everyones. I'm being kind of general here, but basically they're still fighting because the rest of the world is letting it them/not paying enough attention. No, we should not depend on the US to step in and stop things. We need to learn to govern ourselves as a whole.
