I wish I didn't have had to learn French at school why are you learning it :o I suppose if you want to be there a lot then that's why haha.

I got Paris Vogue in France! Did you have the one with Claudia Schiffer (sp?) on it?! I adore the little magazine that came with it.

I want to move there that's why! hahah. At school we had to learn French up to grade 9..but my french teachers sucked so I barely learned anything and used to hate it.

Yup I got that one! I also got one called L'Officiel which also came with a little magazine. I wish I could've gotten more but they were too heavy to bring home =(

I didn't see a lot of fashion ones where I was actually, just some things like German Glamour which I didn't really want! I even saw things like 'Allure' which we don't get in the UK! I adore all the new ads in Vogue though.

Ooh..there was a lot of different ones at the Charles de Gaulle airport.
We actually get a lot of foreign fashion magazines here in Canada though - but for double the price. Like on the weekend I saw German Vogue & I think a Spain Vogue?

Does it say "natuurlijk minerallwater uit de alpen" on the bottle of the water?
because that would be Dutch and that isn't spoken in Switzerland, as far as I know...
I'm confused!

lol yea it says that on the front. But now that I look again..on the other side it says 'naturliches mineralwasser aus den alpen' - is that German?
I think in Switzerland the 3 languages are French, German & Italian.

Yeah that's German.
It means "Natural mineral water from the alpes"

Yeah I think so...
But in fact I don't think French, Italian and German people can understand the French, Italian and German that is spoken in Switzerland haha

hahah yea I know..they actually call the German 'Swiss German'
It's pretty cool how they have a few main languages though - I was in a souvenir shop and this guy said something to the cashier in German then she replied in French..& he's like 'danke' and then she's like 'bienvenue' lol

I really wanna learn french too. I'm learning spanish now and when I finish than I'll learn french and maybe visit France? Hope so. Good luck with your french classes.

This is year is spending more than fast. Is like.. I can't believe one year is over. I totally remember my days in september/august of 2006. But is a good year, isn't it? I really wanna see the pictures of the trip.
Oh, and what's the difference between french vogue and the american one?

I really want to be fluent in French so I can move there hahah. I guess I just want to be able to read it - I tried to understand what people say when they talk in french but it's so hard.
I can't believe a year has gone by already too. I still remember last year in September on my first day of grade 11..now it's starting all over again =\

They have different editors, and the stuff inside is very different. I like the fashion, pictures, and everything in the Paris one way better than the American one.

Prabably is because you never studied another language before? I speak and learn so easy other languages. I do speak portuguese, english I think I speak and write pretty well and I'm learning spanish. I want to learn french after.
Yeah, is really strange isn't it? But think that in a few years you're going to college and that's amazing. I love college. Do you know what you want to study?

Really? I didn't know that. By any chance they sell the French one there in America?

I'm fluent in english & cantonese (cantonese just the speaking part)
I just have one more year left of high school actually. I can't wait to be done with it. I'm still not 100% sure of what I want to do after..I want to get into fashion or art and get a job where I can travel a lot.

Yea there is Paris Vogue (and a lot of other countries' Vogues) here in Canada but it's more expensive.

Your bag is amazing ! <3

I took french for 6 years. Grade 4 - 6 was just a basic french class. Then grade 7-9 I took everything french. Math, French, Science, Social Studies. It was confusing at first. Social studies just had alot of words, and 2 English words is like a freaking sentance in french. Math wasn't that bad sense it was just numbers. Science was okay, I really liked it because science is my best subject. I found french class really hard though because their so picky with à's and je suis. haha. I decided that to keep taking it in high school, which i'm really kicking myself in the butt for now :(

Thanks!

Here it was required that we take it for 9 years..so I had french class all the way from grades 1-9. Everyone in my class hated it, so they never paid attention..& our french teachers always gave up on us. So that's why even after all this time I still suck at french =( We don't have any classes/subjects at my school that are taught in french though - I would fail if I took them lol.
