Good luck with that last one. I was on a panel about villains and all the other panelist were authors and refused to talk about characters other than their own. And then there's the panel that we met one. Try to avoid talking about Hitler...

I forget exactly how competent Hook was in the book, but I remember references to his great intellect and other such things. (I believe they mention he's an Oxford graduate.)

I can see a wonderful conversation developing over creepy doll history. Of course the one that always comes to mind immediately for me is Talky Tina from Twilight Zone.
