Thanksgiving.

I honestly don't have too much use for Thanksgiving, personally. I don't want to hate on anyone's parade, but for my money, it's not enough about thanks and too much about overindulgence, and overindulgence in what? Turkey, which is kind of like chicken except it's dry and sort of tasteless and a little gamey and there's too damn much of it;

Got to agree with you on Thanksgiving in general. By the end of the day I am always so frazzled from the sheer overwhelming inputs that I can hardly sleep from the shaking. Christmas is worse, as for me it lasts two full days (Eve with my family, the day with M.'s). It is not a coincidence that M. and I have our annual fight on Christmas Day, always about whether or not I really have to go. (Though I am hopeful that we can avoid that this year, or at least alleviate it somewhat, by making sure I'm keeping my blood sugar where it ought to be--it's only in the past few months that I've really been being careful about it
