So it’s me & Sparks & Bowie & Winston lights on Tuesday night, again forgoing Trivia night at the Flying Saucer with my little sis…It’s a wonderful bonding experience, but we don’t need that. Most of the people I know are more excited about the Library of Congress system

Haha. Yeah, me and the movies. Good joke. No, I haven't seen it. Maybe someday, since this year I have my second real TV & VCR (and even a DVD player, imagine that!) and this time around, everything actually functions. I've just never heard any rave reviews...

I love David Bowie more than almost anything. His voice is like fucking magic to me. I listened to him last summer almost exclusively and never got tired of him.

"Dress my friends up just for show/See them as they really are"
I've been on this Bowie kick for about two years. It's getting irritating even to me. I took a short break for McLusky, though.
The thing about the Penthouse letters is that the speaker is often stunned or surprised...I mean, when the voluptuous nurse straddles you after your tracheotomy, you're clearly a master cocksmith...you must've seen that coming (ahem).
And I'm slowly balding, but the white hairs are appearing in my eyebrows. Jesus!

A tracheotomy is what I think it is, right? iceblink_luck February 24 2005, 02:31:45 UTC
What I want to know is, does the nurse have a dildo and does it go in the hole in the neck? Oh wait, that would be Bizarre, wouldn't it? Hm. Well, we've got a start here: She's a nurse & she's voluptuous.

And you know what? A Bowie kick suits you well. And so may white hairs in the eyebrows. I mean, you're a dude, so that's supposed to be hot, right? In a Sean Connery kind of way or something, I mean.

Yes, and eek. lemon_memory February 24 2005, 03:28:49 UTC
Connery is sort of...ew.

oh, wait...that'd be a REAL DEEP THROAT!

God, I'm sorry. I'll go now.

Growing Older... solonocturnus March 4 2005, 05:00:24 UTC
This is guy-Shannon. I'm 34 now! I've outlived Jesus. I don't wish to worry about my age, but sometimes I do anyway. Young people look so young now... and old people don't look nearly as old as they used to. I was far more susceptible, though, when I was young, to self-esteem problems and there are things I appreciate now that were beyond me then... That's my hellbent two cents. Caio.

A-ha! Now you just need to add me as a friend and you will share all of my boring and somewhat debaucherous secrets. Actually, I don't post too many of my secrets here (then they wouldn't be secrets, would they?)...But it would be a bout of catching up that my vocal chords could never handle...

I may email you something lengthy this weekend. Or maybe even attempt to call soon...

And you're "boy Shannon," btw--not "Guy Shannon." Or that's the way you live on in my juvenile mind anyway.

My true identity. solonocturnus March 5 2005, 15:16:30 UTC
You know, I did waver betwixt the two (guy-shannon and boy-shannon) for a genuine moment of uncertainty. It's good to be guided back onto the right track before I've had time to develop a serious sense of identity crisis.

About Bowie... He collaborated with the Pet Shop Boys... or they collaborated with him... in 1996 on "Hallo Spaceboy." You've heard it?

Whether or not I'm enlightened enough to cybernetically add you as my friend remains to be seen. What you do know in your lovely heart of hearts where the true matters of consequence are to be discovered anytime you look... is that you're already among my very dearest friends... and I...I suspect strongly.... among your very cheesiest.
