Holy smoke. This is quite staggering you know. Really weighty and meaty, with its juices oozing out.

I just like the schizophrenic dynamic of a battered, young mother and an old, wealthy executive having tons of unwanted children because the woman is naive and the man is greedy. I think that it's a good metaphor to use in depicting my country. And the citizens are the fruit of that young womb and everything that comes along with the complicated situation. It's not too clear when read out of context, I think, but it will find a good home quite soon, I think.

Jules you really are quite an eloquent writer. And you are as mysterious and elusive as you are talented. So to humor those who are taken back and not sure what to make of this piece please explain a bit.

This is beside the entire point, but e-mail me your number again so I can call you in the next three days. I miss you so much & have so much to talk to you about. And then, if we have time, I'll shed some light on this big metaphor. I'm getting insanely nostalgic for last year around this time. xoxoxxo

637-7533. You know the area code (ie paranoid schizo not wanting to display the whole number unnecessarily). Sounds good.. do call.

Some believe that children become adults on the day when they know that their parents are equally helpless.

And what a painful and confusing realization that can be.

Welcome back.

I heart you too, X. It seems another package is long overdue.

My favourite description here is the idea of cousins around the world ingesting something better, more substantial, or more humane from each other on an intimate level, than continental Americans have done for each other.

The part about "learning a language with which to speak about" the country hit a salient point too. It seems as though a lot of people dismiss complaints about censorships with the idea that america is the land of total free speech (and that you could publish this, a testament to it), but new, engaging ways of expressing that it is so, but not necessarily so, are invaluable. What a great job, Ms. Blink.
