[Hitsugaya seems to have defaulted to audio transmissions throughout this fiasco. It's quicker than text and not as distracting as video. Thus it's no surprise that when Hitsugaya addresses the network, the message is in audio format. Except there is no address ( Read more... )

I'm not sure if it's because we have similar titles, that she wants you to have more friends or both. I've been wanting to meet more of the shinigami, anyway. It's interesting to learn the differences between our roles and abilities.

[She'll just pretend to be trying to recall what Rei said. Good timing too, as she stops the healing, having to sort of ration it out for healing duty.]

[He's grateful for every little bit. He certainly won't be asking for more. But harping about what information Hino is spreading about him is different.]

She's made "friends" out of a lot of people.

Despite his outward dismissal, the comment does cause him pause. Hino has been around for quite a while, and she hasn't disappeared in the midst of it. When things have gone catastrophically wrong, she's been there. Every. Single. Time. Even when she's been the cause of it. Even when he's been the cause of it.]

She doesn't know what she's doing half the time, and the other half she delights in mockery and coersion. I doubt that look denoted anything other than her satisfaction at talking about me behind my back.

She does get caught up in a lot of what she does. Rei is a teenager, after all. Saying you're her best friend and that she's pretty close to most of the shinigami here isn't exactly talking about you behind your back, though.

Though I think even Rei forgets that she's a teenager, with all that she puts on her shoulders...

Hino was the first person to forget she's still a teenager. She's never bothered to remember, in all the time she's been here. And every time she proves it, it becomes more and more difficult to clean up her messes.

[It seems as if he doesn't have a single good thing to say about her, but just as Botan mentioned, the look in his eyes says otherwise. The downcast, narrowed gaze isn't accusing in the least. He recognizes that this is the direct result of Hino Rei's ridiculously stupid actions, but he can't blame her for them.]

When you place the weight of the world on someone's shoulders, sometimes the responsibility is too heavy for them to remember that the world is populated.

[After a moment, he looks up, seemingly done with his brooding.] ...If we're finished?

[But Botan can't blame Rei for it, either. Not really, when Botan also felt like she and other people should have been able to knock some sense into Rei. Madrake as well, but the ferrygirl didn't really know him well enough to say. At Hitsugaya's question, she shook out of her thoughts and got back to her feet.]

We're done, unless you want a ride to conserve some energy.

[A ride with what though was to be seen... Until the oar appeared in her hand. Using reiki to focus and manifest an object that's in hand.]

I was going to be flying around the city anyway, to help others that would need it. So it wouldn't be out of the way.
