It seems that this place has been specifically designed for idleness and frivolous thrills. Yet the more I learn about Earth, the more I must wonder how one planet developed such wildly differing cultures.

Sylvar, I believe I have found something here that may be of interest to both of us.

❉ ghost, handmaiden does not approve, fourth wall lol, ❉ youth / gai, from a certain point of view, ❉ sylvar / juhani, intense curiosity, cultural disconnect

Perhaps this world was home to many refugees, and when they settled they did not leave their old traditions behind.

What is it?

That is plausible. The next time there is opportunity, I will seek books on ancient Earth history to learn more.

There is an interactive attraction called the "Star Wars: Jedi Training Academy" show. I believe the attraction is intended for children, but I think it may be a good idea to see what it is.

[Pause for her to pull away and come back.]

An... academy? For children? This, this place of recreation does not seem like one in which schools are welcome. And for Jedi...

Do you desire my company?

I think it is rather a stage show that allows the children to pretend they are attending an Academy. It has very strange scheduling if it is an actual school.

Yes, I would. I think it would be good for both of us to see this and try and learn what we may from it.

I'm sure it wasn't easy.

Of course, there is no way that it could be. From what I have read--and the variety of books I saw in the Mall of America--Earth's history seems to be filled with war and conflict.

Oh so that's why Sky, Bridge and I are so messed up. Figures.

But it is sometimes nice to relax! And there is plenty to work out on too!

It is not the sort of relaxation I enjoy. But they do have rather sophisticated exercise equipment in the hotels, this is true.

And you can run laps around the areas!
