thirty-fourth.

I have found myself unable to speak a single word today, although it seems that I have no difficulties with writing.

I believe I will still be able to carry out some of my duties as a Watchman despite this.

Is the name "Harbinger" familiar to anyone? I believe it may be a ship.

You can't speak...? Did something happen?

I believe it is the consequence of a memory crystal.

I see. How inconvenient.

[He won't ask about her memory here, but may when she gets her voice back, depending on her mood.]

Yes, it is most frustrating. It is fortunate that I did my weekly errands yesterday.

[She'd actually like to discuss it because it confused the hell out of her and makes her wonder about her own morals, so he can feel free.]

Yeah. That... sounds like some kind of warship.

[Oh, Star Wars. Why so many ships by that name? He's thinking of this one, though.]

That seems plausible. Do you think you know anything more?

[It takes him quite a while to answer.]

Understand that this is basically speculation. I'm giving my impressions, making very general statements to myself and going on whether they feel "right" or not.

But - a large ship, and an important one. With most ships there's a balance of speed, firepower, and sturdiness, and this one would favor defense. Though speed and firepower aren't shirked, either.

Someone's flagship. Maybe. Someone I think well of, or maybe it's just the ship.

[Pause, almost long enough that it seems like he's done] And... water. That doesn't make sense, I know.

I see. [tap tap. that's quite a bit of information, but she's not sure if any of it lines up with her instincts.] I do not know if any of this feels "right" to me--the ship was mentioned as being lost. Does that match your own impressions?

You're on paperwork duty this week. Otherwise, you're with Youth.

This sounds inconvenient. Know that if you need anything of me, you have only to ask, Handmaiden.

I believe that I understand the meaning of the word, but I do not find this use as a name to be familiar.

Thank you, Sylvar. I am hoping that it will not last more than a few days.

The name makes it possible that it would be a warship of some kind, or otherwise a military craft. But it seemed to be a small part of the larger conversation.

It seems to be the way of things. If you do not wish otherwise, I will call on you later. [Which just means she'll show up for sparring/practice. And maybe finally tell Handmaiden that she's got a red ticket; she only realized that it changed recently and hasn't put that on the journals.]

I can recall little if anything of fleets, so I am of little help here. [She'd have possibly heard the name before, but unlike Rogue her job doesn't involve studying ships, capabilities, and crews in detail, so it doesn't really stick.]

Very well. I am still able to fight and train with you, and at least communicate in that way.

It seemed to be a small part of the memory, but something worth asking about. Thank you in any case.
