If you mean Gwen, I kept wondering if she was under a spell or had been replaced... It seemed far to easy to turn her when she had no reason to turn.

Exactly. Which, okay, I'd call it a spell except that we had a similar "huh, what?" change with Morgana between seasons one and two. Granted, Morgana was closer to the edge, but it still was ... not exactly gradual?
