Cats. You'd think they had more sense. I'm sure Rothy will hurk it up...and you will step in it. This? Is how cats roll.
I had to pry a sewing needle out of a cats mouth once. It was lodged in the pallet and tongue. I had to push it down further into the tongue (I was afraid to go up into the pallet...little bitty brain in there somewhere) and wiggle it out. You'd think it would put the cat off eating things? No. She managed to find a ball of yarn the very next hour and started eating that!
We need a Cat Owners Support Group. I'll be hoping for a nice mess for you to clean up soon. (Doesn't that just sound like a good friend???)

No doubt about that. It's always when I'm stumbling to the bathroom in the dark that I feel this wet squiiiiish through my socks.

He certainly doesn't. He eat plastic bags, and throws them up immediately afterward.
My aunt gave him some hairball remedy to help ease its passage, through one end or the other.
