a morbid thought - don't you just love those?

Sometimes I wonder where I'll be when the zombies attack. Will I be at the customer service counter at a barnes and noble, ask if they need anything and then be eaten alive right then and there? (of course this would fully depend on if it's a slow day at the bookstore as the zombie would probably go for the customers looking around before coming ( Read more... )

I LOVE zombie things. :) Not zombies themselves, I guess, but zombie movies, zombie comics. YEAH. But I don't think about myself in a zombie apocolypse. I guess I'd be a hider. And attatch myself to a manly man to do my killing (presumably my husband). He however, DOES think about zombies. He loves them like I do, but when the zombie movie's over and the lights are out he says, "What if there really are zombies???" :D

First of all, I own and have read the Zombie Survival Guide. It is well-written and offers some legitimate strategic/tactical advice. I wouldn't be so quick to discount it as "humor."

Second, I make sure to assign my programming students a program to help identify key locations to evacuate to in the even of zombie attack. It is an important assignment with clear practical applications.

The key thing is to be aware that the attack is happening and to start identifying and collecting important resources (keys, gasoline, water, food, and weaponry). There's no point in dying (or undying), you just have to be prepared.

Hope things are well.

You know. I kind of hope you are not at the barnes and noble counter. They do not have very sturdy locks on the doors to the breakroom. And...if it happens when you are at an ATM, then I will pray for you, because for some reason zombies seem to work in teams. Isnt it wierd how the undead learn to get along and work together when the living cant seem to get along?
