All that we listened to was his playlist. Well, that was what he probably thought. While he was listening to the music on his player, I was just listening to his humming. Now this is music.
I was having the time of my life when the plane started to...shake? Turbulence. Great. It was about to ruin the greatest day of my life...
"This is bad." Yuto straightened himself. I did the same.
He looked around to check on the other passengers. Well, he was the one near the aisle so he could get a better view at the people around. I was situated just next to the window so I couldn't see anything aside from the clouds and my seatmate unless I stood up.
So yeah, he was all that I could see. And looking at his worried face made me worry too.
"It's just turbulence...It will pass aft-"Then the plane just shaked us so hard that I had to hold on the seat in front of me for support.
I could have slamed into it if I wasn't careful. This is really bad.
Dear Lord, please do not make this the last of my days. Let me live to tell this story...I know you have given me so much...just being in this place at this very moment is everything. And I thank you for that everything...But not now, please...please...
Okay I sounded so helpless, I think I was the one who was really scared. Where did the "It's just turbulence."-attitude go? But I needed that prayer. Gosh, you don't know what can happen!!! And you're a thousand miles above land!
Now, I was freaking out! I can feel my hands shaking...
I just held them together to stop the trembling. I didn't want him to see that I was scared. Chill Keina...chill...
"Keina, you should try this..."
I looked up. He was doing something with his hands.
"It relieves tension, you know..."
I nodded. It was all I could do in that moment. Then I managed to follow what he was doing. But it seems that I wasn't doing it right.
"Calm down...here..."
He cupped my hands around his hands...He tried to steady my hands with his tension-relieving whatever.
Whoa! It really does work! I was a bit shocked with that. I stared at my steady hands. They behaved. Haha!
I could still feel the turbulence but somehow I was relieved. Not just because he held my hands but because he was still holding them and it feels like he's not gonna let go until the shaking was over. Yeah!
The next thing I knew....
I woke up.
