And I still, even now, am completely mystified why the guild-mistress dug in her heels and kept going on about disbanding rather than handing the guild to one of the five people that asked to take it
That sounds familiar.
Unfortunately, nothing is free from the possibility of drama on the internet, not even WoW. Guilds divide all the time, mostly over really petty things. It just seems less tiresome, to me, than the old MU* drama that cropped up.
Oh, absolutely! I'd love to. And if you need any help or anything, just yell, I can do graphic design and whatnot (I just can't be commuting back and forth; a 4-hour commute just to work at a haunt is...well... kinna silly. XD )
I could come up for a night though, mebbe even in costume if the powaz dat bee say it's okay.

Actually, as of the new upcoming expansion (WRATH OF THE LICH KING YAY YAY YAY) you'll be able to PICK new dances. :D (Which is good, 'cause the whole Saturday Night Fever thing does NOT work for Andreyn...)
And yes. Undead males are moshers/metalhedz, and the girls do the emogoth wavy-hand dance thing.
Male draenei do the Tunak-Tunak dance, which is AWESOME~~
yep, that's my reaction to my introduction to WoW.
i feel quite intimidated... you know, by the whole two minutes i ran around aimlessly.
i have a v. pretty little night elf druid girl, though.
question(s) for you, oh my WoW guru*:
is it possible to play with a game controller, or is this strictly a keyboard/mouse game?
wtf do i do? srsly. what?
can i talk to people? like.... will they randomly attack me for talking to them? you can tell lj has made me paranoid, right?
do they srsly expect me to kill the bunnies? . . . and how hard do people laugh when you die?
*aaaand... you do know that this is all your fault, right? it is, cause you keep making the game sound so darned fun.
i can feel it; it's going to be just like baldur's gate, and i'm gonna screech like a little girl on a regular basis. i had to stop playing baldur's gate bc i felt so bad for the spiders when i killed them, with their pathetic little death screeches and all.

i'm on aerie peak; the game picked it for me. i knew i didn't want pvp (just thinking about it made me panic... i have the feeling "can't we all just get along?" wouldn't get me too far there), and i wasn't sure if i was ready for role playing
( ... )
You can change realms by clicking on the red bar at the top of your character selection screen. I wouldn't be intimidated by RP servers... to be honest, what that means is you're at least VAGUELY less likely to be exposed to people with dumb names like 'Legolawl' or 'Xsephirothx' or the like (although there's some) and Goldshire might be MARGINALLY less horrifying. (If you don't know about Goldshire, just wait... you'll find out...)
Anyway, if you do make an alt on Sentinels, look for either Mourne or Andreyn... I can set you up with starting money and bags and you can bother me for advice (though if you don't make a pally or a hunter I won't be able to help too much aside from telling you where to finish certain quests...)
And no, I never played that; I've only ever owned a PS2, consolewise.

XD sounds to me they don't want anyone using such awesome benefits when they leave. I mean come on, it makes sense that when you make a franchise, you nurture it, it goes swimmingly you just don't close the fucking place down and fire everyone. You hand it over to someone who not only CAN operate it but WANTS to. Otherwise, you get a boatload of crabby people who will ensure everywhere you walk in Wow, you gonna get pvp'd and end up having to be killed at the nearest spawn point. Ahh, sweet revenge, thy name is digital.

Or perhaps I'm just biased.
