That hurt. But it's a great portrait of how soulless!Sam collided with Dean's time at Lisa's, and of all the different kinds of pain this brought to Dean.

Yeah. The guy's been through enough, and I have to put him through more. What is wrong with me, idek.

I don't generally write angst anymore. Just at a point in my life where everything's a cosmic joke, so bring on the lulz. But I watched this scene in All Dogs Go to Heaven where Crowley says that soulless!Sam would sell Dean for a dollar if he wanted a soda, and the story just sort of... flowed from there.

Too bad Dean reminded Sam about that time in the police station surrounded by millions of demons. That could easily have made Sam think about Dean being shot in the shoulder and how he was 'just fine' that time, so where's the harm in putting another hole in his brother? (gotta love that souless logic!)
You write so well. I appreciate that. Also appreciate some hurt Dean, so thanks for this!

Oh that was so great... I'm one of the 0,0007% out there who actually really love Lisa. She was so great with Dean and your story was just perfect in that way. And when I read that story I just thought that soulless Sam wasn't mean enough on the show... ;-)
