I know, right? It seems that by Disney standards, the only characters who hug on PR are either basically married, or else it's a sibling-style relationship (in at least one character's view).
A far cry from FOX PR, where there were two kisses between two pairs of teens who weren't supposed to be seen as romantically involved with one another before there was a kiss between a dating couple.
I guess the FCC just trusted kids to know that sometimes a kiss is just a kiss, and not sexual harassment. *sigh*
It's actually kind of funny when you think about the channels' histories.
