There's someone in town that's kind of important to me, regardless of what our personal relationship is. Or if we even have one, hell if I know.

Thing is, I'm starting to think I like them more than I should.

And by now she's probably heard all kinds of overblown and one-sided stories about the kind of person I am, and I don't really know what she thinks of me anymore.

So, what the hell am I supposed to do?

Yeah, I'm not stupid. I know that much.

But the thing is that the stories aren't entirely wrong. Not to mention that I shouldn't like her this much in the first place.

I was pretty much in the same position. I opened up to her, poured my heart out. I was ready to be shoved out the door and into traffic. Know what? She actually understood. She actually accepted my feelings. You have no idea how liberating that feels.

I'm telling you, man. Just go for it. Even if she does reject you, it's better than worrying forever and kicking yourself for never trying to talk to her.
