 My alma mater is where the latest shootings have occured, at Northern Illinois Univ.  My hometown.

Its a bit on the sureal side to read stories about the hall where the shootings occured and know the door he probably walked through before he started shooting.

And to top it all off...the "Reverend" Fred Phelps strikes again.

It is a surreal feeling, isn't it? Back in the early 90's, there was a serial killer who murdered 5 students at my alma mater, and two of the bodies were found in an apartment complex where friends used to live. 3000 miles away, and I couldn't sleep for a week.
