Sharing the internet with MacOS X

Apparently it _is_ possible to share the internet over the same ethernet cable. So my iBook is currently functioning as both the gateway to the modem (providing internet to a pc), and as a computer itself, retaining internet abilities ( Read more... )

Sounds kinda similar to what I do. Mac OS should have the same capabilities as linux....

This is my personal abuse of the university network system, they never even know my laptop is here.....
Laptop -> server ethernet 1 (crossover cable) -> iptables ->server ethernet2 -> University jack

This is a setup that I made for a computer lab for elementary school students.
6 computers -> switch -> server with DHCP and iptables -> ethernet or modem to interweb
