I'm getting my Golden Doodle puppy today and I'm beyond excited. I've been researching them online and search through hell and high water for the perfect puppy at the perfect price. I know huh? I think they look like big cartoon charactors or stuffed animals. The cool thing is not only are they awesome looking, the breeds that are mixed in are great breeds. Golden Retriever is one of the best dogs you can have and the Poodle is ranked 2 for intelligence. Goldens are ranked 4th.

I know me too. I became obsessed after I saw a girl at the park with a Golden doodle puppy that was probably the cutest puppy I'd ever seen and he was carrying his leash in his mouth so then I started researching them online. I was a little discouraged at first by the price and a little pist off because they were so expensive but I can handle 500 that's about what you would pay for any dog even if yu adopted one would not be much cheaper. I'm so excited and so are the kids and Roy. In fact Roy just called me asking me if he thinks he could get the dog sooner then tonight. We're all very excited.

1,500-2,500 dollars? for a mixed breed? that's nuts. i guess i don't understand the whole designer breed movement.

Yeh it's complete craziness. But I was so stuck on getting one. I'm just happy I didn't have to pay 2,500. I would still be dogless.

The say that the mix breeds have the best qualities from each parent breed. Even more so then the parents breed. I don't know if I explained that right..

My uncle in France has a seven years old Labradoodle; he haven’t bought him for the look but the dog was trained to sniff and dig for truffles. So, aside the fact my uncle has a cute pet to play with, he completes his monthly income with this dog’s help. He has three puppies but there’s no insurance he’d be able to train them as well. At least he could get some money out of their cuteness.
