It usually winds up with someone dissolving in tears and lots of hugging and hand holding while the turkey gets cold, but it is a meaningful tradition for me, lol!

I, too, am so grateful to live in America in the 21st century where flushing toilets and hot running water is commonplace. Oh, daily showers, how I love thee.
