I think about that as well. I don't know if you have heard of Open Doors (they are an organization that is primarily focused on persecuted believers) , but they are doing a big push to get Bibles in the hands of the Chinese and there is a country that I was reading about where they are just now getting the Old Testament translated into their language.

At my parent's house we do that same "What were you thankful for this year?" routine, but only having one thing, like "my family" is just not accepted.

It usually winds up with someone dissolving in tears and lots of hugging and hand holding while the turkey gets cold, but it is a meaningful tradition for me, lol!

I've heard that song before but that kid has an AWESOME voice!

I, too, am so grateful to live in America in the 21st century where flushing toilets and hot running water is commonplace. Oh, daily showers, how I love thee.
