This is such a clever and creepy retelling of Persephone :D It's so smooth and beautiful, too, and I love all the little details that shape the story (the pomogranate drink!). Thanks for writing. <3

Neat! And if it wasn't rather early in the morning I could probably come up with a longer comment, because this story deserves one. But I just got up and my brain's not functioning properly yet.

I love that the narrator classifies people according to what bands he thinks they like, what major he thinks they are, and what he imagines they name their cats. :D Also, Persephone as a manic pixie dream girl is perfect! I'll never be able to think of her in any other way. And just like a real manic pixie dream girl, she's actually with the Alpha guy, and is just passing time with the guy who needs to be shown how to live until he returns. XD.
