Aww, what a sweet ending! But I'm glad to see more of Arcady and Kai; I like reading about them. And this was a very nice story. I really enjoyed it.

*echos this* Nifty--I love the details scattered throughout that really give it taste and texture and weight of reality, and it's fun to see Kai and Arcady figure out their friendship again (and Makani is always awesome)--

But it does feel like a piece of something much bigger, and I'd love to have a better glimpse of what it is. Not that this doesn't stand on its own, but now I want more!

I don't think Kai exactly has a ~fabulous destiny~ awaiting him or anything, but he's been shown a glimpse of the spirit world now and his life is probably only going to get weirder from now on.

Anyway, glad you liked these stories! I had a lot of fun with the worldbuilding and creating the characters (and the actual writing, when I wasn't stressing out over deadlines.)
