There are actually a few more stories set in this world, although they're kind of different in style to this one (please excuse me if you've already read them and this comment referred to all 4!): - Being the unlikely romance between a computer geek and an art student (or: a 3am love story) is about Arcady, a friend of Kai's (he was mentioned a couple of times in this one) and a rather silly romance - Summer in Arcadia is about Kai and Arcady as children (Makani features) and is more in the style of a children's summer holiday adventure novel - Sea of Red Sand is about Kai and Arcady as adults (set not long after The Wind on the Sea), taking a roadtrip.
