Behold my super eBay skillz!

I seem once again to have stuck lucky on eBay (famous last words!)

Today my search for Mamas and Papas travel systems threw up a Pilko P3 Pramette in west Sussex. I was about to add it to my watched list when I noticed it had a buy-it-now price of £50. So I bought it.

It really doesn't matter that we're not likely to use the car seat (we'd ( Read more... )

looks like a fantastic bargain. my only negative I would say is Jow is the only person I know that has had a handled pushy rather than a bar one that hasn't complained that it hurts their wrists but at that price you can't go wrong even if you just sell it again

We tried out the pushbar type on various models in John Lewis etc but they are all too high for me so I end up with my elbows bent and my hands pushing upwards rather than downwards :(

The M&P Pilko has easily adustable handles that actually almost go down far enough for me and yet can go high enough for Nick. And it isn't that heavy compared to other models.

I've had no probs with the handles on my pushy, I know others have though. I tried a double pushy with a bar across and found I couldn't control it as easily as mine, plus it made my wrists ache more trying.

I too had the problem with handles being at the wrong height, took ages to find one that was OK for the both of us given the difference in stature :) At the time there wasn't an adjustable double pushy ont he market, I think it's a great idea and would have definately bought one if we could have found one!

I bow to the Izzy eBay skillz... *bow*

I still love my M&P Pliko P3 to bits, it's fab! I agree it's not too heavy, opens and closes easily, the swivel wheels make it really manoeuvrable and I've never had any problems from the handles. My gripe is that you can't put things into the shopping basket from the back, you have to do it from the front which is a bit of a pain - but I don't know if that's common to all of them?

I'm still just learning this eBay business - it wasn't you that beat me to a playpen yesterday was it?!
