Another confirmation: Peter Parker is a nerd
I was watching an episode of the old Spiderman cartoon, the one from the early 90s, and he had a great line.

OK, based on that comment, there are two possible responses. I'll do them in order of likely intent.
1) While I wish I could claim that I knew the dates of cartoon airings off the top of my head, I am forced to admit that I googled them. However, the fact that I even made the connection might signify that the title should have read, "Another confirmation:Ian Vassilaros is a nerd". :)
2) It's true - the writers of the cartoon were clearly nerdy enough to make that reference through Peter, though I was commenting purely on the in-universe fact that Parker made a crack about The Tick.
Of course, the fact that I even articulated response #2 only underscores response #1. :D
