Poor Ianto!! I really hate when people think in classes( someone being above or below them because of where they live or how many possessions they have, but this is what we still face! Ianto is to good for Olivia! The poor baby/child to be deprived of Ianto's love is very sad!

I think this is part of what might have pushed Ianto to distance himself from his past.

But now he has his Jack and all kinds of labels were thrown out there.

Heh, Olivia is in for a shock when she sees what Ianto has become.

Poor Ianto. And also poor Olivia. It was obviously wrong of her to leave Ianto if they did truly love each other, but I can see why she felt she had to do it. She is just a child herself. She needs her parents' help so even though she knows their attitude is wrong she feels she has to go along with it. *Hugs them both* whilst wanting to knock some sense into her parents. Yes getting pregnant so young was probably not the most sensible thing she could do, but that is no reason to make her she has to disown the father, who she loves.

Olivia thought she was doing what was best for her child even if it was a bit misguided. She just assumed her parents would not help because of where Ianto came from. PErhaps they might have seen differently if she just asked and saw they both were trying to do the right thing.

Will you write a follow-up story? I cannot imagine that Ianto would not want to know his child even from afar. This was truly heart wrenching for both of them. I can see why Olivia chose the path she did, and I can see how this motivated Ianto to rise above his past. Really good story.

Yes, there will be a follow up story. I was working on a follow up to Master of Secrets when I wrote this as it helped me get an idea of where Olivia was coming from. It's still being written and hopefully I will have more time to write soon.
